Marriage is a wonderful/powerful institution established by God. When a marriage is healthy there is so much blessing and so much more can be accomplished for God’s kingdom. As God’s word states:

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour:  If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.  But pity anyone who falls & has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

But the opposite is also true, because Satan knows the value & power of healthy relationships he is constantly attacking & trying to bring destruction in this area. That is why we need to take great care to root out the lies & deal with the issues at hand.
